Dany Loret

Dany holds a degree in Civil Engineering, specialising in electronics from the University of Ghent. He also holds a PhD on semiconductor electronics at the same university. Later in his career, he completed an executive MBA at Vlerick Business School (JMP) and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology (EMCCC) at Insead

Dany has a rich, international experience as a CEO in both the ferrous (ArcelorMittal) and non-ferrous industry (Aurubis), and often in situations where radical changes were required (i.e. crisis, turn-around).

He was actively involved in the post-merger M&A integration at Arcelor and ArcelorMittal. Through this activity Dany gained extensive experience with applying cost-saving methods whilst working in a multi-cultural environment.

He has served as General Manager of the ArcelorMittal Global Accounts, working with clients from a variety of industries, from automotive over home appliances, construction equipment and energy, to oil and gas.
